| In a new campaign, DDS MediaOcean is encouraging more media buying agencies to adopt Order Xport. Also referred to as Order XML or TVB XML, Order Xport enables non-DARE agencies to send original orders directly into a rep’s or station’s MediaOcean or Reppak sales inbox. The orders are processed immediately, free of input errors and resulting discrepancies. Encryption and authentication algorithms assure the integrity of the transmissions.
DDS MediaOcean will be sending its rep and station clients a promotional piece geared toward their buying agency partners that explains the benefits of Order Xport. DDS MediaOcean requests that clients forward the PDF to buyers, urging them to start submitting original orders electronically. Reps and stations can also send their non-DARE trading partners a link to the DDS MediaOcean web page that explains how Order Xport works.
The widespread use of electronic orders will benefit the industry as a whole. They eliminate faxes and manual entry of original orders, expedite order processing, and provide the buyer with an electronic audit trail.
