Recently, Mediaocean employees volunteered at the Wheels2Water event for the Testaverde Fund for Spinal Cord Injury. The Testarverde Fund arranges a day at the beach to take physically disabled individuals to the ocean to surf. It gives these men and women the opportunity to enjoy the recreational and therapeutic activities associated with water sports and improves the overall quality of life and health.
Members of the Pune, India office spent a recent Saturday volunteering with the ‘Vanasthali’ organization — a charity which works to empower underprivileged children and women in rural areas.
Last weekend, Mediaocean employees in the New York area volunteered at the ‘Wheels2Water’ event in Lido Beach. The event, held annually by the non-for-profit Testaverde Fund for Spinal Cord Injury, helps paralyzed men and women out of their wheelchairs and onto specially designed surfboards for exhilarating water fun!
As the final event of this year’s IAB Annual Leadership Conference, Mediaocean hosted the Second Annual IAB Golf Tournament. Attended by industry professionals, executives, and friends with whom we’d already shared some fun times during the three days of the conference, the sense of community spirit was palpable, and it was a fun and successful end to a great conference.
