Anthony Guzman
Senior Director, Development

Anthony is responsible for maintenance and development of several systems in the Mediaocean platform. His education is in accounting, and he used computer science classes for stress relief! He loves working at Mediaocean for the opportunities to evolve and learn. Anthony says, “We are all charged with a single idea of making this place better than the one we inherited. We all make choices every day with our thoughts, actions, and words. We can debate two-sided issues; two viable differences of opinion. Hate is a one-sided issue, injustice is a one-sided issue, equality is a one-sided issue. No one should choose hate, no one should choose injustice, no one should choose inequality.” He is passionate about mathematics, live music, and Phi Beta Sigma. He once postponed surgery to attend a Prince concert.

John Coppola

John has worked at Mediaocean for over 20 years, working with clients and partners to manage data and technology integrations with the Mediaocean platform. He was a history major back in the day, but his love of tinkering led him to a technology focus. John says, “No one person or group has a monopoly on good ideas. The more diverse a team is the better solutions are developed. That is why I enjoy my co-workers at Mediaocean, they accept my beliefs and background, understand my military service, and offer a unique outlook on the road ahead that we will travel together.” John is a proud member of the U.S. Army Reserves, has a half-built (life-size) R2D2, is terrified of heights, and used to work on Wall Street.

Aparna’s many hats include shepherding quality deliverables for the Mediaocean platform, fostering the development and culture of the team in the Pune office, and mentoring and coaching upcoming leaders. Aparna says DE&I is more than policies and programs. When employees feel their ideas, presence, or contributions are truly valued and taken seriously, there is deeper trust and more commitment from employees. Aparna loves being outside, especially in the mountains of the Himalayas and the Alps. Somewhere there is a film of her making an emergency paraglider landing during a sudden mountain storm

Training Operations Analyst

Brandon facilitates operations with training teams, clients, and new Mediaocean employees all over the world. When closing offices due to the pandemic put Brandon’s role of receptionist at Mediaocean in jeopardy, he quickly pivoted to a new one. He loves the level of inclusion across positions and locations throughout Mediaocean. Brandon says, “We are on the precipice of greatness not only with Mediaocean but with the way the world is changing and that starts with DE&I. I want to make sure that we as a brand stay authentic to how we bring people together across continents and encourage uniqueness and fresh ideas every day.” When not working, you may find him cooking new meals or taking a trip down memory lane with the Golden Girls.

Career Circles

Mediaocean’s Career Circles (Employee Resource Groups) are designed with community and guidance in mind for employees who wish to develop personal and professional relationships with others in the organization. A key component of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Initiatives, Career Circles are mini career communities that are completely employee driven where members and their respective leads work collaboratively towards goals and objectives.

Black employees at Mediaocean (BEMO)

Dedicated to the development and advancement of our Black/African American team members, this group creates opportunities to share stories, promote cultural awareness, and expand on our network of talent.

Mental Health & Wellness

Mental Health & Wellness focuses on building a supportive community for team members that care about Mental Health & Wellness issues. It provides a safe space for team members to learn from one another and grow together.

Mi gente

Mi Gente was created to give team members representing the Hispanic/LatinX community a platform to reflect on Hispanic/Latinx values and culture. Members of Mi Gente are part of a supportive network that fosters cultural awareness, promotes professional development, and provides social opportunities for sharing.

Pride at MO

Focusing on the concerns of the LGBTQ+ community, this group provides a supportive community for LGBTQ+ team members and allies.

Women at MO

Strengthening and encouraging women to grow personally and professionally, this group fosters connection, guidance, collaboration, and discussion. Our chapters include women and allies from our offices globally as well as our remote employees to ensure value for everyone.

Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI)

The AAPI career circle was developed to give a safe space for members and allies of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community to discuss current issues, navigate issues faced in a corporate environment, develop relationships with each other, and grow professionally and personally.

Professional Parents

The Professional Parents career circle is a safe space to talk about all things related to parenting. The goals of this circle are to share parenting challenges, support each other by finding practical solutions, and empower our members to feel confident in being both 100% parent and 100% professional. This career circle welcomes all parents, including biological, adoptive, foster, stepparents, and same-sex parents.

Language Lovers

The Language Lovers career circle focuses on learning and improving knowledge of foreign languages and cultures as well as help creating bonds between the various Mediaocean teams around the world.

Books & Beyond

The ‘Books & Beyond’ Book Club was formed with the intent of fostering a culture of ‘Learning through Reading’ in Mediaocean. It serves as a creative platform for book enthusiasts to come together as a community and share their passion for books.
