Ideas in Full Effect

The theme of this year’s 4As Transformation Conference was “The Idea Effect,” and ideas were certainly abundant. That includes those of Mediaocean’s own SVP of Marketplaces, Dave Oliviera, who participated in a panel entitled “It’s not just trading data that is important to agencies.” Moderated by GroupM’s John Montgomery, the panel explored ad-tech’s role in simplifying and improving the buyer/seller relationship.

Dave stressed the idea that workflow ad-tech allows publishers and advertisers to forge meaningful cooperation through the combination of more efficient tools for interaction (such as those found in eBusiness), and increased freedom of business model and offering, enabled by freedom of tech stack development through open APIs. He spoke of enabling agencies to focus on ‘high value activities’ through increased communication and efficiency, and Mediaocean’s commitment to building all of its products with these goals in mind.
