Forget the Selfie! Samsung Wins over Apple in Marketing
Ellen’s Oscar tweet may not have been worth $1 billion (as valued by Maurice Levy, Publicis Groupe’s CEO), but Samsung’s still way ahead of Apple in the marketing game. Samsung has always spent more on marketing globally, but is now creeping up on Apple in US ad spending as well, increasing their budget by $20.1 million to $614 million (compared to Apple’s $627 million) in 2013.

eBay has begun its search for a global agency for its rebranding effort. eBay has been making moves in recent years to update its brand image and also reduce clutter in the user experience.
